A Quick Overview.
Validity
Unlike Shipment Certificates, a Factory Halal Certificate, otherwise known as an Annual Halal Certificate, has a cycle of 1 up to 3 years.
Manufacturing Sites
In addition to the main certificate holder’s details, a Factory Halal Certificate may include the manufacturing sites which are linked to the Approved Products Appendix [see right side]
Approved Products
The certificate has an appendix which lists the approved products of the customer. In general, the appendix includes the article numbers, the product names, descriptions, and brand names.
Security and Safeguard
Each issued certificate has a live QR code which can be validated for authenticity. And each appendix with approved products has its separate live QR code for the same reason. All types of certificates can also be validated by entering the Certificate Number on our website.

Differences between a Factory and a Shipment Certificate
A Factory Certificate is a general conformity certificate declaring that a customer can produce Halal products or provide services which are Halal suitable. This is valid for a period of 1 to 3 years and enlists the products or services approved upon.
The Halal Shipment Certificate is specifically linked to a shipment from an approved manufacturer or facility. This certificate is typically used by slaughterhouses exporting fresh or frozen [Type HA] meat but can be used by any type of company as well other than slaughtering plants [Type HB].
Please note that Shipment Certificates are sometimes mandatory and cannot be replaced by a Factory Certificate.
