After the successful H20 event in Jakarta, we continued our journey to Malaysia and Singapore to connect more.
Visiting JAKIM in Putrajaya, Malaysia
Upon invitation by JAKIM, a delegation of HQC has visited their headquarters in Putrajaya.
After our impactful visits to Jakarta and Singapore, we concluded our tour with an essential visit to Putrajaya (Malaysia), where we had the pleasure of connecting with longstanding partners at JAKIM and USIM.
At JAKIM headquarters, we were warmly welcomed by Director General Dato’ Dr. Sirajuddin and Dr. Zuraiza, who have been instrumental in our collaboration over the years.
Our discussions were both fruitful and forward-looking, covering key topics such as the revival of the International Halal Authority Board (IHAB) and potential future collaborations with the World Halal Food Council to unite Halal Certification Bodies globally.
We look forward to the future as we work together to strengthen Halal certification processes, foster international collaboration, and empower the Halal industry worldwide.
Attending the ICCOS 2024 event in Singapore
ICCOS 2024: Celebrating Leadership and Innovation in the Minor Muslim Communities
We’re thrilled to share our experience attending the International Conference on Communities of Success (ICCOS) in Singapore, organized by MUIS.
This prestigious event, held at the Marina Bay Sands, brought together esteemed leaders, including Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Dato Dr. Naim, Malaysia’s Minister of Religious Affairs, the UAE Minister of Religious Affairs, the Brunei Minister of Religious Affairs, former Rotterdam Mayor Ahmed Aboutaleb, Singapore’s Minister of Muslim Affairs, Mr. Masagos Zulkifli, and the Mufti of Singapore, Dr. Nazirudin Mohd Nasir, among other distinguished guests.
HQC was honored to be invited to this influential gathering.
We had the opportunity to engage with these thought leaders, discuss vital issues facing the Halal sector, and exchange ideas with an inspiring global community.
ICCOS stands as a beacon of inspiration for young, talented Muslims worldwide.
It underscores the importance of leadership, community engagement, and the shared goal of empowering future generations.
We left ICCOS inspired, with valuable insights to guide us in our commitment to advancing Halal certification standards globally.
We look forward to building on the connections made and contributing to the shared mission of fostering trust and excellence in the Halal industry and to share our knowledge with our fellow community members.
