Halal Certification

Your Gateway to the Halal Industry.

What is a Halal Certificate?

A Halal Certificate is a compliance certificate issued by Halal Quality Control (HQC) to companies that demonstrably meet applicable halal requirements.

The certificate confirms that production, processing, storage, and where applicable, distribution are carried out in accordance with Islamic principles and relevant national and international regulations.

A Halal Certificate is always issued with an annex listing approved products, production sites, and relevant details. Each certificate includes a valid signature from an authorized signer, a unique reference number, and a QR code linking to the official validation page on our website.

Depending on the certificate type and target market, validity can range from 1 to 3 years.

A general Halal Certificate differs from a Halal Shipment Certificate, which is issued only for specific shipments or when required by importing country legislation.
Validity
Unlike shipment certificates, a general Halal Certificate has a validity of 1 to 4 years, depending on risk profile, product category, and applicable halal standard.
Production Sites
In addition to certificate holder data, a Halal Certificate can include multiple approved production sites, provided they are explicitly listed in the annex and comply with HQC requirements.
Approved Products
Each Halal Certificate includes an annex listing approved products, typically including product names, item numbers, descriptions, and where relevant, brand names.
Security and Protection
Every issued Halal Certificate has an active QR code and a unique certificate number, allowing real-time verification of authenticity via the official HQC validation page.

Product annexes also have separate validation to prevent misuse, forgery, and incorrect application.
